Common Beliefs of the Chubby vs. Common Beliefs of the Slim Beauty

Hello,

This is Shiori, an Ideal Shape Guide, Running Companion Trainer.

If you find yourself:

  • Gaining weight despite not overeating,
  • Gaining weight through regular daily activities,

It might be a good idea to question your own common sense.

Because what you consider normal or common sense might actually be behaviors leading to obesity.

For example,

For someone, it's common sense to eat a full bowl of rice, including dessert.

For another person, it's common sense to eat half a bowl of rice, consulting their stomach and leaving food if it feels like too much.

If we have these two perspectives,

The one who eats half a bowl of rice is undoubtedly on the path to graceful and slim beauty, while the one who eats a full bowl may be prone to weight gain, despite thinking they are not overeating.

Growing up in a certain environment and developing habits may make it seem challenging to change one's own perception as an adult.

However, let me say something that might be a bit uncomfortable to hear:

Your current body is a result of the past norms, habits, and actions, isn't it? If you want to change your future body, the only way is to change your current habits and actions.

Indeed, one of my students used to firmly believe that having snacks is normal, and having dessert after meals is common sense, and quitting was absolutely impossible!

However, after starting the program, although it required a bit of self-control initially, gradually, the cravings diminished. Now, not snacking has become a daily routine. As a result, this student lost 5kg compared to the starting point of the program.

It's truly remarkable! If your current body doesn't match your ideal body, consider questioning your own norms and try adopting the norms of a slim and beautiful person.
